Jefferson County Released Inmates is privately owned and has no government, sheriff, jail, or corrections affiliation. Neither this site nor its advertising partners offers a Fair Credit Reporting Act service for credit, employment, insurance, or tenant screening. The resource points to Jefferson County and Texas inmate-record sources. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.


Nature of the Website

This is a private reference site. It stores no official Jefferson County, TDCJ, court, BOP, or ICE records and cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or file a government request for a visitor. It organizes links to inmate and jail record resources and may connect users with outside research tools.


Acceptable Use Rules

By using the site, you agree that you will not:

  • break any applicable law;
  • stalk, harass, threaten, or harm another person;
  • make hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions from site content;

No Consumer Reports

Texas Governing Law

Texas law governs these Terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Texas. Government Code Chapter 552 governs requests to Texas public bodies, but it does not turn this private resource into a government records custodian.


Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected provision will be limited or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
