Nature of the Website

This is a private reference site. It stores no official Jefferson County, TDCJ, court, BOP, or ICE records and cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or file a government request for a visitor. It organizes links to inmate and jail record resources and may connect users with outside research tools.

Acceptable Use Rules

By using the site, you agree that you will not:

• break any applicable law;
• stalk, harass, threaten, or harm another person;
• make hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions from site content;
• attempt access to accounts, systems, or data without authorization;
• operate bots, scrapers, or automated extraction tools; or
• disrupt service or interfere with another visitor’s access.

No Consumer Reports

Jefferson County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. It provides no background check, credit report, or consumer report, and neither the site nor its advertising partners provides screening services. You agree not to use any information for:

• hiring, firing, promotion, or other employment decisions;
• tenant selection or any housing decision;
• creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing;
• license, permit, or government-program eligibility; or
• another purpose regulated by the FCRA.

Outside Websites

Links may lead to Jefferson County release records, sheriff and corrections pages, government portals, legal resources, or third-party search services. A link is not an endorsement. We do not control those operators, their content, privacy practices, data, terms, or availability. Review their policies before submitting information.

Service Without Warranties

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise:

• accuracy, completeness, or current information;
• continuous or uninterrupted access;
• freedom from errors, defects, or security weaknesses; or
• complete or reliable results from a partner search tool.

Custody and public records can change quickly. Nothing displayed here is an official statement by Jefferson County, the Sheriff, TDCJ, a court, or another government agency.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Jefferson County Released Inmates and its operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive loss arising from access to, reliance on, or inability to use the site or a linked service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from your use, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.

Ownership of Content

Unless otherwise stated, the text, graphics, logos, design elements, and code belong to Jefferson County Released Inmates or its content partners. You may not copy, distribute, republish, modify, or exploit them without prior written permission.

Suspension of Access

We may restrict, suspend, or end access at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.

Texas Governing Law

Texas law governs these Terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Texas. Government Code Chapter 552 governs requests to Texas public bodies, but it does not turn this private resource into a government records custodian.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected provision will be limited or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
